100,000 euros in jewelery stolen from the George V hotel robbery in Paris | Abroad

The masked perpetrators were engaged in the robbery for only a few minutes. They used axes to break display cases and scrap themselves with valuables, Le Parisien reported. The hotel is closed due to the corona measures, but the building is accessible to shops, among other things.

Opened in 1928, George V is one of the most chic in the French capital with 244 rooms for around 1000 euros per night each. It was bought by a member of the Saudi royal family in 1996 and renamed Four Seasons Hotel George V. a year later.
