This year’s New Year’s press conference, the fourth after taking office, will be held online for the first time in consideration of the Corona 19 situation.
Only 20 reporters selected by lottery attend the press conference, and 100 people participate by video.
Reporters who participated online at home or at work hold their license plates, and President Moon nominates them by number and asks questions.
Reporters who are unable to participate in the field or by video can ask questions in the online chat room.
The press conference will be held in the fields of quarantine, society, economy, diplomacy, and security.
In the field of quarantine, there will be high interest in specific vaccination plans and additional disaster subsidies.
In the economic sector, questions are likely to focus on the real estate issue that was first apologized after taking office and additional measures to stabilize housing.
