The service boat of the Ludwigshafen water police station was damaged to such an extent by a grounding at the Speyer oil port, Rhine kilometer 399, that the water ingress was severe. Sinking could be prevented by the fire brigade. The service boat is taken out of the water at a nearby shipyard. The ship accident record is carried out by the Mannheim waterway police. There was no personal injury, and operating materials did not leak.
