45307 E.-Kray: Last Friday (August 28, around 7:00 a.m.) there was a traffic accident at the Kray motorway exit in which a truck was damaged – the police are now looking for the fugitive car driver. The truck driver (48) had driven on the A40 coming from Bochum in the direction of Essen and had left the motorway in Kray. At the exit he had positioned himself in the right of two left-turn lanes. At the time, there was a car, possibly a gray Mercedes-Benz E-Class, next to him. While turning, the car is said to have come too far to the right into the lane of the truck driving next to it and damaged it on the front left side. Then the car should have continued its journey. According to the truck driver’s statement, a witness whose name was not known called out to him from the car and pointed out the collision, and only then did he discover the damage. The responsible traffic commissioner 1 is now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the course of the accident and / or the driver of the fugitive car.
