In tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ (hereinafter referred to as ‘You Quiz’), which aired on the 24th, Kang Cheol-won, a breeder of ‘Fu Bao Grandpa’, appeared. Zookeeper Kang Cheol-won wanted to breed her mother panda Ai Bao in the last 2019 appearance of ‘You Quiz’. Ai Bao successfully mated in 2020 and gave birth to Fu Bao.

Regarding this, Kang Cheol-won, a breeder, said, “Fubao has grown a lot. He was 197g when he was born, but now over 1000 days, he has over 100kg.”

Fubao is the first panda in Korea to successfully breed. They boast a fandom strong enough to lead a dedicated ‘cannon camera’ unit. A cannon camera is an expression that is called a cannon because it looks like a cannon with a long telephoto lens attached.

Zookeeper Kang said, “I became independent with my mother on September 1, 2022, and I became independent on November 1.” It’s to protect. Pandas lead a completely independent life. Because this child’s life will be happy,” he said, conveying the news of Fubao’s independence.

Zookeeper Kang recalled the moment Fu Bao became independent and said, “I have to live alone now.” He said, “But you are always in my grandfather’s heart.”

Zookeeper Kang Cheol-won, who says that he will have to say goodbye to Fubao next year, said, “Pandas reach sexual maturity when they are 4 years old, so they have to go to China and meet friends.” Nothing has been lost or decided,” he said. When the public said they wanted Pubao to live in Korea, zookeeper Kang Cheol-won expressed a firm stance, saying, “I want to think on the side of animals.”

In particular, zookeeper Kang Cheol-won responded to the question, ‘If you could talk to Fubao?’, he said, “To my grandfather, you are my eternal baby panda. No matter what situation comes, my grandfather is always on your side and thinks of you.”

Zookeeper Kang Cheol-won said, “When I look at the animals when I’m having a hard time, I think they know my heart. If Fubao is going through a breakup, he will resolutely say, ‘Don’t worry, Grandpa, I’ll do well’?”

He then expressed his affection for Fu Bao, saying, “(To Fu Bao), ‘Don’t worry about Mom and Dad, I’ll take care of you. I hope you adapt well and meet good friends, and you will be forever in your grandfather’s heart.'”
