Zodiac’s Reunion Tour Kicks Off with Standing Ovation at Jelgava Open-Air Stage: Dates & Ticket Information

The first concert of the reunion tour of the group “Zodiaks” was played at the Jelgava open-air stage “Mītava” over the weekend. The performance, which was welcomed by the audience with a standing ovation, starts a tour of 12 more concerts in different cities of Latvia.

Under the leadership of the composer Jānis Lūsēns, the cosmic “Zodiac” instrumental compositions of the early 1980s, “Pacific”, “Rock on ice”, “Provincial Disco”, “Zodiac”, as well as the legendary hits of the band’s second composition, or “Zodiac” – “Taisnība”, “Wind”, “Tēvu zeme”, “My favorite flowers”, “Pūt, vējini”, “Mirušais jassims”, “Dziedi jel” and other songs performed by Siegfried Muktupāvel and Maija Lucena.

During the summer concert tour, Kristens Kupčs (guitar), Jānis Lūsēns jun. (bass), Harijs Gūtmanis (percussion), Uģis Upenieks (percussion) and Sarma Liede, Austra Kozuliņa, Toms Kalderauskis (additional vocals).

The next two concerts of the group “Zodiaks” will take place on June 10 in Liepāja, at the “Pūt, vējiņi” concert garden, and on June 16 at the Sigulda ruins stage. After that, they will continue on July 15 in Jēkabpils, Krustpils open-air stage, July 21 in Talso, Sauleskalns stage, July 22 in Alūksne Pilssala stage, July 29 in Saulkrasti stage, August 11 in Valmiera stage, August 12 in Saldu, Kalnsētas park stage, 16 in August at the Dzintari concert hall, on August 19 at the Bauska Pilskalnas park stage, on August 26 at the Ikškile stage and on September 16 at the Daugavpils Palace of Culture.
