Rumor of the release of one of the main PS4 exclusives, Horizon: Zero Dawn, on PC appeared in early December from video blogger Anton Logvinov. And he seems to be true.
The information is confirmed by Kotaku journalist Jason Schreyer. The editor received a message from three people familiar with Sony’s plans – they all report the transfer of the game to PC in 2020.
The journalist emphasizes that for Sony it is “an unprecedented move that signals that in the future the publisher will release their games on other platforms.” Probably, players should wait for releases on PC and other consoles of other branded PS4 projects.
Horizon: Zero Dawn was released in 2017 and has become one of the business cards of the current generation Sony console. The game was created on the Decima Engine from Guerrilla Games, and Death Stranding, which will also appear on the PC this year, was developed on the same engine.
