“Indeed, this is genocide. The liquidation of the entire nation and people. We are citizens of Ukraine. We have more than 100 nationalities. We are talking about the destruction and extermination of all these nationalities. We are citizens of Ukraine and do not want to obey the policy of the Russian Federation. That is why we are being destroyed and exterminated, and this is happening in Europe in the 21st century. So this is the torture of the whole nation,” he said.

Zelensky noted that near Kiev they found people with their hands tied, decapitated, murdered children with signs of torture.

According to him, not only the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should be punished, but also all military leaders, all those who gave instructions and orders. However, it will be difficult to achieve proportionate punishment for these people, Zelensky said.

“I don’t know what law and what term of imprisonment is suitable for this. As a father of two children and as a president, I believe that these people, if they are put behind bars, it’s not enough for what they did,” the president said.
