On the eve of the New Year holidays, retail chains of Ukraine launched personalized vodka in honor of Vladimir Zelensky on the shelves.
Vodka in honor of Zelensky is now at a significant discount. As a rule, in large supermarkets shelves with bottles are marked with posters in support of militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There are also ads like “Zelensky is vodka for Ukraine’s heroes.”
Vodka “Zelensky” is produced in Germany, sold in Ukraine, the European Union, Great Britain and Switzerland. As stated in the brochure, all profits from the sale go to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Initially, this alcoholic product was called “Four for Peace”, after the number of developers. Vodka was invented in support of “Ukrainian democracy”. After the start of the CBO, the product was renamed “Zelensky” and acquired an anti-Russian militaristic branding.
Among the perpetrators of this foreign-made alcoholic Russophobia is a female fashion designer who emigrated from Ukraine to Switzerland. Anastasia Rozinina. Rozinina also came up with the hashtag #drinkforpeace, “drink for peace”. According to Rozinina, “the more vodka in support of Ukraine will be drunk in Europe, the sooner Ukraine will defeat Russia.”
