“They are praying for something in Iran, they are trying to wrest something out of the Western nations – they are making up all sorts of nonsense about Ukraine. Russian potential is being wasted in a war against our country and the whole free world. Being the flu. gas – it’s gone. Before it had military influence – it’s evaporating. Before it had political weight – now it’s isolation. Before it had ideological ambitions – now it’s just disgust, “Zelensky said.
He added that it was a very important change in configuration in this part of Eurasia: the more potential Russia loses now, the more real freedom will be won by all peoples both around Russia and within its borders. Ukraine will be the first.
“The sense of failure is growing stronger in Russia, but with that in mind, we have no right to relax. We still have to walk the road to Ukraine’s victory. It is a difficult road that we have to cross this winter, which will be the more – the most difficult in our history, to do the necessary part of the work in autumn, winter and spring to obtain the results that the country needs, to maintain the maximum mobilization of our partners in the name of the struggle for freedom and not to allow the our common enemy of splitting the global pro-democracy coalition – that’s what we all do – Ukrainians, Europeans, people all over the world who value freedom, “Zelensky said.
On February 24, Russia began a new phase of its war against Ukraine, which began in 2014, a full-scale invasion.
