Shurma worked in industry for 15 years

The ex-general director of the Zaporizhstal plant will be responsible for the economic unit of the President’s Office.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree on the appointment of Rostislav Shurma as Deputy Head of the Office of the President. Decree No. 592/2021 published on website head of state.

Shurma will be responsible for the economic unit of the EP.

“Among the priority tasks is the preparation of programs to stimulate economic development and increase energy efficiency,” said the deputy head of the EP.

38-year-old Rostislav Shurma was born in Lvov. He graduated from the National University of the Kiev-Mohyla Academy (Economics and Entrepreneurship) and the Kiev University of Economics. Getman (Economic Theory).

For 15 years he has worked in industry. In 2012-2019, he held the position of General Director of the Zaporizhstal plant. Shurma is a member of the Supervisory Board of the State Concern Ukroboronprom.
