This week we learned that the ever popular Animal Crossing: New Horizons has just passed the 22 million copies sold mark. A monumental box for Nintendo who can also boast of having reached 20 million with another production.
It was present in the latest figures released by Nintendo, The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild have sold 18.6 million copies worldwide on Switch. But if we add the 1.5 million versions Wii U sold by calculation, we can estimate that the title produced by Eiji Aonuma has officially reached the symbolic mark of 20 million copies sold. With Animal Crossing, Zelda, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Japanese firm can therefore boast of having exceeded this figure three times since 2017. For its part, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will join this very closed club within a few weeks since it currently points to 19.99 million.
