Zayed Higher Organization signed a memorandum of understanding with Emirates Transport to implement an initiative to sew clothes for bus drivers and supervisors affiliated with Emirates Transport on the fingertips of people of determination in the sewing workshops of the Agricultural and Vocational Rehabilitation Department in Zayed Higher. The agreement also includes launching joint community initiatives to benefit people of determination on a list Gifted people.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Secretary General of the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, Abdullah Abdul Ali Al Humaidan, and the Executive Vice President, CEO of the School Transport Sector at Emirates Transport, Faryal Tawakkol.
In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, the Zayed Higher Organization carries out annual awareness and education courses for bus drivers and supervisors in Emirates Transport on dealing with people of determination, with the aim of raising their awareness of the security and safety procedures that must be followed to maintain the safety of students during their daily trip to care and rehabilitation centers and back from them to ensure their protection from risks. And ensuring their arrival to the organization’s centers safely. The memorandum includes registering the Zayed Higher Organization in the supplier registry in the Emirates Transport procurement system to support the implementation of the initiative to sew clothes for bus drivers and supervisors with the fingertips of people of determination, and to provide their needs for the products of the Zayed Higher rehabilitation workshops.
