SPIELBERG – Avintia racer, Johann Zarco, is considered to be the culprit in the great accident that occurred at the Red Bull Ring Circuit in the event MotoGP Austria 2020. Because, Zarco drove too wide and prevented the Petronas Yamaha SRT racer, Franco Morbidelli.
The accident occurred when he was about to enter the third corner. At that time Morbidelli could not avoid Zarco who was in front of him. The two racers were bounced off the gravel. However, Zarco and Morbidelli’s racing motorbikes were thrown so far that they entered the racetrack again and disrupted the race.
The racing motorbike that bounced was what almost hit the Monster Energy Yamaha racer, Valentino Rossi. Luckily, The Doctor slowed down his motorbike so he could avoid the motorbike that was knocked off.

Zarco is also the figure most to blame for this incident. Even so, the French passport racer explained that he did not intend to intentionally cover Morbidelli’s racing track.
“When I put the brakes, Morbidelli was shocked and touched me. Initially I was accused of driving in a very wide lane, but I almost never drove in a different way than usual. There was no intention, we talked and now everyone knows what happened,” Zarco said, as quoted from Speedweek, Monday (17/8/2020).
However, Zarco still apologized for the incident. He was also grateful that no other racer was injured due to the bouncing motorbike. Zarco himself also spoke directly with Rossi after the race.
