Zack Snyder responds to Martin Scorsese’s ‘anti’ Marvel statements

Martin Scorsese, one of the best directors today, made controversial statements in 2019. Two years ago, the Oscar-winning director said that Marvel films are not cinema but amusement park attractions. Now responds Zack Snyder on this.Snyder has a lot of superhero movies on his account, of course. He already came up with this in 2009 Watchmen. Then he went to work for DC and came up with Man of Steel on Justice League. So you would say he might be offended at Scorsese’s statements, but that is not the case.

Reaction
For example, Snyder says: ”Martin Scorsese is a genius. If you are as good at something as he is, you have the right to speak about that field. I still have the same respect for Scorsese”.

Snyder does not really feel addressed either: ”I’m sure he wasn’t talking about my movies. Well, maybe, but I don’t think so. He was talking about those other movies”.

The director ends by saying that he does have a lot of respect for the Marvel studio, and there is nothing he could do about the films: ”I might make them make less money and make them less lovedSnyder jokes.
