Mission accomplished for Cristian Chivu’s Inter, who beat Sheriff and moved to first place alone in Group D of the Youth League. Against the Moldovans it ends 2-1 thanks to the header of the “usual” Casadei and an own goal, in the final goal of the host flag with Pogreban. Difficult game, against an opponent who only took care to defend himself and not to allow spaces. First half with few emotions, which ends at 0-0 without Inter being able to create real dangers in the goal area.

In the second half Chivu immediately plays the Valentin Carboni card, talented class of 2005 on his absolute debut with the Primavera and brother of Franco, and the music changes. The Nerazzurri took the lead after only 4 minutes with the usual Carboni-Casadei axis: cross from the left of the full-back, imperious detachment by the midfielder and the ball in the net. Fifth center of the season for Casadei (3 in the league and 2 in the Youth League). The Moldovan resistance fell apart and the Inter doubling arrived with a header from Hoti deflected by Carmanov in his goal. In the final comes the goal of the Sheriff’s flag with Pogreban, who resolves a scrum and puts the ball behind Rovida. With these 3 points, Inter now leads the Youth League group D at 7, ahead of Shakhtar Donetsk (6), Real Madrid (4) and Sheriff (0).

Cristian Chivu’s Inter, after the draw at the last minute in Empoli in the league, return to play in the Youth League: the Nerazzurri Primavera face Sheriff, on the third day of group D. Inter lead the table with 4 points, the result of the 1-1 home game against Real Madrid and the success in Ukraine against Shakhtar Donetsk. The Nerazzurri coach lines up the tried and tested 4-3-2-1, with Iliev and Owusu behind Jurgens. Rovida is in the door, Hoti and Fontanarosa are back in defense with Zanotti and Carboni on the flanks, Sangalli in the control room with Casadei and Fabbian on either side. Kick-off at 2 pm.
