WEST BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com – The motive for Hari Rasta (23) to rape and kill a young mother in a chicken coop on Jalan Padat Karya, Cibeber Village, South Cimahi District, Cimahi City, West Java, was revealed.
From the results of the investigation by the Satreskrim Polres Cimahi, the motive for the murder and rape of the young mother from West Bandung was to seize the victim’s valuables.
This motive was evident from the way the perpetrators carried out their actions by targeting victims of commercial sex workers (PSK) through the MiChat application and inviting them to have sex where the perpetrators wanted.

“From the results of the investigation, the perpetrator’s motive was to want to take control of the victim’s belongings. The motive is illustrated where the perpetrator directed the victim to the place according to the wishes of the perpetrator,” said the Head of Cimahi Police, Aldi Subartono, when holding a case at the Cimahi Police Headquarters, Wednesday (15/3/ 2023).
So that the victim wants to be deceived, the perpetrator lures the victim with an expensive rate for one date.

After the victim agreed to pay a certain price, the perpetrator directed the victim to the place where the perpetrator promised to be executed.
“Then, the perpetrator lured the victim with a higher price than the usual rate. When he arrived at the crime scene, the perpetrator immediately pointed at, threatened and took the victim’s belongings,” said Aldi.
The victim was then directed by the perpetrator to a quiet and poorly lit place, namely in a chicken coop on Jalan Padat Karya, Cibeber Village, South Cimahi District, Cimahi City.
There the victim was raped and died at the hands of the perpetrator by being stabbed with a knife. Meanwhile, the perpetrators took away valuables belonging to the victim.
“The perpetrators took the victim’s belongings, including 1 unit of cellphone, gold jewelry, and Rp. 2.5 million in cash which we had confiscated to become the vehicle for the money taken from the victim,” said Aldi.
Aldi explained that this is not the first time he has carried out a similar action by the perpetrator. Previously, the perpetrator carried out the action with the same mode twice.
“However, the two previous victims did not die and no one reported them. This means that the belongings of the previous victims were only taken because they were under threat,” explained Aldi.
The results of the investigation stated that the perpetrator always targeted the victim through the application with the mode of asking for a date. However, the perpetrators seized valuables that the victims brought when they were on a date.
“All modes are the same, the perpetrator uses the MiChat application which is not in his name and then looks for victims at prices above the average,” said Aldi.
For his crime, the perpetrator was charged with multiple articles, namely Articles 340, 338, and or 365 Paragraph 3, as well as Article 285 of the Criminal Code with a minimum threat of 20 years in prison and a maximum death penalty.
