Joaquin Phoenix has a very striking new haircut. Since the actor appeared on the red carpet of the New York Film Festival this week, fans have been raving about his haircut.
Phoenix appeared at the film festival on Tuesday to attend the premiere of C’mon C’mon, his new film set to hit theaters later this year.
Everyone noticed on the red carpet that the Jokeractor has said goodbye to his signature long mane. At least, partly.
Phoenix has now shaved the top of his head very short and left the sides long.
And that makes for a striking appearance. A number of those present could not resist taking an extra look at him.
It was also striking that he had not dressed in a neat suit, but a simple black sweater with a slogan of a charity that works for the protection of animal rights (Phoenix is a vegan himself).
