“You pig”: Local boss from Oslip apologizes – News

Shortly before the state parliament election in Burgenland, Oslips local manager Stefan Bubich called the SPÖ local politician Franz Schneider “asshole” and “pig”. In an email leaked to the media Bubich not only deprived his competitor of the you word, but also predicted that he would die soon. The dispute was triggered by a dispute over the Osliper municipal budget.

On Monday, the day after the election, Bubich apologized to Schneider. The mayor also sent an email to his opponent:

“Dear Mr. Schneider!

I would like to apologize for my irresponsible derailment. Regardless of the previous occurrence, the choice of words was unacceptable.

The long-standing conflict between us has unfortunately been reduced to a few aggressive lines in a weak moment. That should not have happened.
