You can now pin direct messages on Twitter and that’s how it’s done

Twitter has just released a new feature for everyone that will make it easier to navigate our private message tray.

The platform already allows you to pin up to six direct messages to the top of your inbox. Until now only available to Twitter Blue users (who have to pay a $3 monthly fee), this feature can be used on iOS, Android, and the web.

You may not find this feature activated on your account yet. The reason is that the deployment is being carried out gradually, so it may still take a few days to be able to use it.

How to Pin Direct Messages on Twitter

Doing this is very simple on all platforms.

We tested it on the iOS app, but not on the Twitter web app. In the iOS app, follow these steps to pin a direct message:

  1. Open the latest version of the Twitter app on your mobile phone.
  2. Enter the message menu by clicking on the envelope icon.
  3. Select the conversation you want to pin to start.
  4. Swipe right on the conversation and a pin or thumbtack icon will open. She presses on him.
  5. Touch the pin.
  6. The conversation will go to the “Pinned Conversations” section at the top of your inbox.

This improvement joins others recently launched by Twitter as a new tool with which we can speed up or slow down the display of content and to listen to voice tweets.
