Below 100,000 US corona patients… The threat of mutation increases
The number of COVID-19 patients in the United States has fallen below 100,000 in two months.
CNN broadcast citing data from the’Corona Tracking Project’ and said that as of the 30th of last month, there were 97,000 hospitalized patients, and this is the first time since December 1st last year that this number has fallen below 100,000.
However, as mutant viruses with great transmission power have been discovered in more than 30 states in the United States, warnings are growing that the situation could get worse again.
Former CDC director Tom Frieden said time is life in the future, and stressed that vaccination should be advanced faster to counter the spread of the corona mutation.
