On Saturday, the Anse, members of the association of blood donors, and those of the French Blood Establishment (EFS) welcomed volunteer donors to the village hall. “Volunteers must now make an appointment, choose a time slot and register on the dondesang.efs.sante.fr site”, recalls the treasurer, Jean-Luc Vincelot.
This new organization is the direct consequence of the pandemic and the mandatory health measures to be put in place. 60 volunteer donors were expected, but a heating problem, quickly resolved by the technical services, only allowed 35 of them to make their donation. Including several young people, like Marine Thomas, for whom “Donating blood is an act of citizenship”.
