Jakarta – Family lawyer Brigadier JKamaruddin Simanjuntak asked the National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo to immediately deactivate the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran.
Kamruddin asked the National Police Chief to deactivate the Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran for the sake of objectivity of the special team (timsus) for the shooting of fellow police officers at the residence of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
Kamaruddin assessed that there was a special closeness between the Kapolda Inspector General Fadil Imran and the former Head of the Propam Division, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.
“At Polda Metro Jaya, we saw someone hugging, crying, then there was framing with Komnas Perempuan and asked for LPSK protection. Therefore, for the sake of objectivity, our attitude remains the same (deactivate, ed),” said Kamaruddin Simanjuntak after being confirmed, Thursday (21/7/2022).
Kamaruddin explained that his party did not accuse anyone of the investigation into the shootout between the police. However, he reasoned that the deactivation was a form of objectivity to the team formed by the National Police Chief, Listyo Sigit.
