[이데일리 문다애 기자] Yellow Balloon (104620) announced that it recorded KRW 23.7 billion in sales and KRW 1.7 billion in operating profit in the first quarter on a consolidated basis. Sales increased by about 3410% compared to the same period last year, and operating profit turned to black.
This is because we prepared for the normalization of the travel market through human investment and internal restructuring during the COVID-19 pandemic.
We have increased our digital competitiveness by expanding the influx of new customers and diversifying sales channels, and upgraded our system to provide products that customers want and when they want through data accumulation.
The yellow balloon, which has successfully turned into a profit, will continue its good performance until the second half of the year. Currently, the reservation rate for the third quarter is showing a recovery of more than 100% compared to 2019, before the corona.
