Madrid – A beach in Spain has been evacuated because of an unmanned yacht in the sea. According to media reports, the incident happened on Sunday in the seaside resort of El Campello, about 15 kilometers northeast of Alicante.

A lifeguard noticed the danger not far from the coast around 2:30 p.m. from his high seat and raised the alarm, reported the news agency Europa Press, citing authorities.
The yacht went in a circle, but it could not be ruled out that it might change direction at some point and endanger the beach visitors.
According to the information, the yacht had previously injured a 33-year-old woman in the water on the hip and one leg.
The woman, like all the other occupants of the yacht, had fallen into the sea after the ship was hit by a big wave, as it was said.
The regional newspaper “Levante” reported that panic had broken out among the bathers on the beach.

Since the fuel ran out after around an hour, the sea rescue service had no problems recovering the yacht.
