The Xunta’s vaccination strategy will be implemented in two phases:
Home in Restricted Areas: In November 2023, vaccination will begin in the restricted areas, which include the entire province of A Coruña and the veterinary districts of Mariña Central, A Mariña Oriental, A Mariña Occidental, Terra Chá Guitiriz, Terra Chá Castro, Terra Chá Vilalba, Meira , Lugo, A Ulloa, Os Ancares. y A Fonsagrada, in the province of Lugo. Extension to Previously Delimited Districts: Starting in December, the campaign will expand to the regions that have already been delimited and vaccinated throughout 2023, covering additional provinces such as Ourense and Pontevedra, and parts of Lugo such as Sarria, Chantada and Terra de Lemos-Quiroga.
Flexible Options for Farmers
Farmers have the option of vaccinating their animals through two main routes:
