Xiaomi showed the new Pro 2 and 1S electric scooters. What can it do and how much does it cost?

Today, the Chinese company Xiaomi, along with other innovations in the “ecosystem” of smart electronics also introduced new electric scooters to the world. These are the Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 and Mi Electric Scooter 1S models. As the name of the first variant suggests, these are the successors of the previously sold Pro version. It differs from it mainly in that can handle a twenty percent climb instead of twelve percent. Which is interesting because performance hasn’t changed. The company has also worked on better safety features and an EBS system for brakes. The maximum range is still 45 kilometers and a speed of up to 25 km / h. However, in terms of dimensions and design, the Pro and Pro 2 scooters are almost identical.

The 1S model then tries to target less demanding users who do not need to cover such long distances and at the same time suffice for them scooter smaller and lighter. He manages to cover 30 km on a single charge and can cope with a fourteen percent climb. Thanks to the smaller battery, it also charges faster. You can compare the basic difference parameters of all mentioned scooters in the table.

Pro Pro 2 1S

  1. Hi!
Sorry, but I think you are wrong about “It differs from it mainly in that can handle a twenty percent climb instead of twelve percent”. You have made a mistake about percent and degrees. The Pro and Pro 2 models both have the same climbing percent eg. 20% and the 1S 14% in there respective specifications. It correspond to about 11 degrees för Pro and Pro 2 and about 8 degrees for 1S. It would be interesting if anyone have tested both models Pro/Pro 2 vs 1S how well they managed climbing hills in S-mode.
