According to customs statistics, in the first three quarters of this year, Zhejiang’s total import and export value was 3.70 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.0%, of which exports were 2.71 trillion yuan, an increase of 4.4%, and imports were 981.62 billion yuan, an increase of 6.8%. Zhejiang’s import, export and import scale ranks third, second and fifth in the country.
In the third quarter, Zhejiang’s import and export reached 1.31 trillion yuan, with exports of 957.42 billion yuan and imports of 352.96 billion yuan. The scales all hit historical quarterly highs, with year-on-year increases of 3.7%, 2.2% and 8.0% respectively.
In the first three quarters, Zhejiang’s imports and exports to countries co-building the “Belt and Road” were 1.93 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.8%, driving Zhejiang’s imports and exports to grow by 5.3 percentage points. During the same period, Zhejiang’s imports and exports to ASEAN, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa were 513.86 billion yuan, 430.03 billion yuan, 384.11 billion yuan, and 288.84 billion yuan respectively, an increase of 8.9%, 9.3%, 9.9%, and 16.1%, accounting for the total value of Zhejiang’s imports and exports. of 43.1%, driving Zhejiang’s import and export growth by 4.3 percentage points.
In the first three quarters, the province’s exports of sporting goods and equipment were 19.47 billion yuan, an increase of 7.3%, and the growth rate was 34.5 percentage points higher than in 2022. Among them, exports to Asia were 5.31 billion yuan, an increase of 10.2%; exports of ball sports goods were 3.29 billion yuan, an increase of 33.8%.
