The promotional material confirms that the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 will have cameras developed in partnership with Leica. In addition, some rumors point to a 50 MP Sony IMX766 main camera with optical image stabilization, a 13 MP ultrawide camera and a telephoto with 2x optical zoom.
The company’s CEO, Lei Jun, stated that the new phone will be very thin, at just 5.4mm thick when unfolded and 11.4mm thick, including the camera, when folded. The company’s proposal is to stand out from competitors, with a very thin and light folding device. According to information (not yet confirmed), the Mix Fold 2 may only have 202g.

The foldable will be equipped with the processor Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 from Qualcomm. Its 4500mAh battery should have 67W fast charging. In addition, it will have versions with up to 12 GB of RAM, with 512 GB and 1 TB of storage, according to its TENNA certification.
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 2 can have an external screen from Samsung, AMOLED E5, which can offer an aspect ratio of 21:9 with a Full HD+ resolution (2520 x 1080 pixels). In addition, the internal AMOLED screen, also manufactured by Samsung, will consume 25% less energy. Both screens will have a 120Hz refresh rate.
