KOMPAS.com – Xiaomi certainly will bring a high-end smartphone (flagship) Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G to Indonesia in the near future.
This phone will be a new model as well as a cheap version of the Xiaomi 12 series flagship series which was first released in the country last April. Two models that have been marketed in Indonesia are the regular Xiaomi 12 and the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Through a post on the Instagram account @xiaomi.indonesia, Xiaomi announced that it will launch Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G in Indonesia on Tuesday, 19 July 2022.

Mi Fans (as Xiaomi fans are called) can also watch the launch event online via the Xiaomi Indonesia YouTube channel at 13.00 WIB.
Currently, Xiaomi has not provided a grid of specifications for the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G which will be released in the country next week. However, we can see spesifikasi Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G which was launched recently.
Spesifikasi Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G the global version and the one to be released in Indonesia should be similar or at least not much different.
In terms of design, the global version of the Xiaomi 12 Lite has a 6.55-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling, and a brightness level of 950 nits.

The screen also supports the latest biometrics, namely an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G screen has a punch hole that houses a 32 MP (f / 2.45) selfie camera complete with a dual LED flash feature.
Because it is a “Lite” aka cheap version, Xiaomi has cut the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset used in the regular Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro, from this phone.
Instead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4nm), the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G (6nm) chipset. This chipset is paired with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of media storage.
For the power sector, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is equipped with a 4,300 mAh battery. This phone supports fast charging (fast charging) 67 watts which is claimed to be able to fully charge the battery (0-100 percent) in 40 minutes.
Xiaomi 12 Lite runs the Android 12 operating system with the MIUI 13 interface layer. As the name implies, this phone already supports 5G networks in the n1, n3, n5, n7, n8, n20, n28, n38, n40, n41, n66, n77, and n78.

That way, the Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G phone can already capture the 5G signal held by Indonesian cellular operators, namely Telkomsel (n40) and Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (n3).
On paper, the cheap version of the Xiaomi 12 series phone has a thickness of 7.29mm and weighs 173 grams.
In the global market, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is available in a choice of Lite green, Lite Pink and Black color variants. The price of the global version of the Xiaomi 12 Lite is sold at the following prices:
