It was this week that Microsoft decided to detail several features embedded with the Xbox Series X. The American manufacturer particularly pressed on the Smart delivery and Cyberpunk 2077 will be part of this new program.
Behind this name hides a kind of “commercial gesture” on the part of Microsoft. For example, if a player decides to buy a title on Xbox One, they will automatically unlock the Xbox Series X version without having to pay an extra penny. This great initiative will extend to all Xbox Game Studios exclusives as well as certain productions from third-party publishers.
Towards the end of easy babywearing?
Following this announcement, CD Projekt RED decided to speak on Twitter to announce good news. So the Polish studio said that players who will own an Xbox One version of Cyberpunk 2077 will get the Xbox Series X upgrade for free. It’s pretty consistent since the game will be released just two months before the arrival of the next consoles.

Players who might be tempted to wait for the Xbox Series X version of Cyberpunk 2077 will be able to crack from the launch of the title before enjoying it on the future machine of Microsoft.
