What has reported journalist Stephen Totilo in his space at Axios, a new financial report from Microsoft leaves us interesting facts about Xbox Game Pass. The service increased by 37.48% its users as of June 30, 2021 compared to June 30, 2020, the day that marks the company’s fiscal year. It’s a big climb, no doubt, but the company expected more.
And it is that, according to the data in the document, Microsoft I expected that the service increased by 48% the number of subscribers in that one-year period. It is curious to note that in the previous year’s report, Game Pass did exceed expectations: the company expected 71%, but grew 86%. Beyond that, what we still don’t know is the specific number of subscribers.
