In the last few hours we have given a whole series of updates on what is the case of the day: the firing of Bray Wyatt. The wrestler was one of the top sellers of the company and with the character of The Fiend he was one of the reference points of television shows. But at some point, in the American morning, he received the call from John Laurinaitis to inform him of the management’s decision.
Who decided the dismissal?
According to reports from the PWInsider, the choice to fire Bray Wyatt was made by president Nick Khan and CFO Kristina Salena: the two have been working for months to keep WWE’s accounts in order and free it from what are considered expensive contracts and not necessary. The move would also have been suggested by the last call with investors in which Vince McMahon had announced new staff cuts in order to keep the accounts positive.
