During broadcasts of SummerSlam 2020 through WWE Network, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt managed to get the Universal Championship after defeating Braun Strowman in a Falls Count Anywhere.
The showdown was the main event of WWE’s most recent pay-per-view event. The two men moved throughout the arena while exchanging attacks, even reaching backstage where they attacked each other for several moments. When they returned to the ring, Strowman decided to cut the canvas to launch his rival against it. However, the play fell against him and ended up receiving two Sister Abigail in the ring without protection. Wyatt got the victory, but ended up receiving an attack from the returnee Roman Reigns, who also pounced on Strowman.
In this way, “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt wins the Universal Championship for the second time in his career. Strowman has accumulated a total of 141 days as champion since his title victory at WrestleMania 36. On the first day of the event, held on April 4, 2020, “The Monster Among Men” achieved a quick victory against Goldberg. The wrestler thus raised his first world-class title within WWE.

Bray Wyatt’s demonic persona managed to attract the attention of Braun Strowman, who appeared on the Performance Center screens from a mysterious location. “The Monster Among Men” clarified that he did not care about Alexa, but that his main objective will be to destroy “The Fiend” at SummerSlam. Seven days later, Strowman reappeared with a new look and a much more aggressive personality. The champion did not hesitate twice and decided to throw her ex friend on the canvas.
