WWE Monday Night RAW: Coverage and Results for March 1, 2021

Monday Night Raw opens with a summary of what happened around the WWE Championship with The Miz, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. Tonight, The Miz will defend the title against Lashley. Also, Drew McIntyre will face Sheamus next.

Drew McIntyre take the floor before your fight. He assures that his fight with Sheamus will be a war and invites the public to stay and see him. Review the end of WWE Elimination Chamber, where Lashley’s attack left him destroyed for The Miz to redeem the Money in the Bank briefcase and become WWE Champion. “I have a mission in my head, and it is simple. To regain the championship and be the main event of Wrestlemania,” says Drew. As for Sheamus, he wants to face him right now because he thinks there is nothing more to say.

The Miz y John Morrison come out on stage. They both ask why there is so much annoyance with him, when seeing the bearer of the briefcase become champion is the most natural thing to do. “You should be mad at Bobby Lashley,” Miz insists. Drew says he won’t do his dirty work for him, he will have to take care of Lashley alone. McIntyre applies Sheamus’ blows to the chest, but the Celtic Warrior quickly goes on the attack and with a Brogue Kick takes him out of the ring. Returning from commercials, Sheamus punches Drew’s jaw and hits his Ten Beats of the Bodhran. The action moves to ringside where Drew throws Sheamus hard against the edge of the commentary table. McIntyre crashes him again and returns him to the ring. Flying Clothesline and a count of two about Sheamus. The Celtic Warrior goes up to the corner but Drew jumps with a Glassgow Kiss. After another pause, they continue to exchange blows in the ring. Drew’s Spinebuster and another count of two. Sheamus’ Knee Strike which is not enough either, as is the later White Noise. McIntyre prepares to finish, but Sheamus steps down from the ring and approaches to punish him with the top rope. Sheamus almost got the victory with the Alabama Slam, but Drew got up and stopped the Brogue Kick with the Claymore for the count of three.

Naomi is dancing backstage and meets Nia Jax. They face each other before meeting.

Shane climbs to the edge of the ring to yell at Braun to take over from Adam. Strowman is upset but relents. Adam enters with doubts, looks for the pin but Shelton turns it and achieves the count of three.

Bad Bunny y Damian Priest they speak backstage. Elias and Jaxson Ryker approach them. Elias insists that they record a song together, talking for a long time. Bad Bunny responds in Spanish to Priest, so that he releases an aggressive “no” to Elias.

Shane McMahon talks to Bobby Lashley and MVP. He says he’s also upset with the result, although technically Lashley had his match. Shane says he is considering taking the championship away from The Miz. The champion must defend his title against Lashley before the next hour, or he will be stripped of it.

Shayna Baszler y Nia Jax they come out to face her. Shayna scoffs at kicking Asuka’s tooth out, and laughs that Charlotte doesn’t have a partner. “Nobody loves you,” Nia says to Charlotte. She affirms that the power is no longer in her hands, and that the next challengers will be her or Shayna. Charlotte responds that they may not want her, but she doesn’t need to prove anything because she is Charlotte Flair. Jax and Shayna enter the ring to attack her.

RETRIBUTION (T-Bar, Mace & Slapjack) vs. Riddle & Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik)

T-Bar comes out aggressively and applies a Chokebreaker on Riddle. RETRIBUTION maintains control over Riddle with various relays. Finally, Lince Dorado enters and connects a Crossbody to Slapjack. Superkick and stop Metalik, who stands on Lince’s shoulders to dive into Diving Elbow on Slapjack.

Mustafa Ali is furious with RETRIBUTION again. He yells at Riddle not to go away and confront him right now, to show RETRIBUTION how a match is won. Riddle enters defiantly and the referee stops him.
