Weekly program begins WWE Friday Night SmackDown, opening a new location at the Amway Center in the city of Orlando, Florida. Tonight, Vince McMahon will make his return to the blue mark to address the public. On the other hand, AJ Styles will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Jeff Hardy.
Vince McMahon He is in charge of opening the program, behind it are the virtual assistants of the night. McMahon starts talking, the lights go out and APARECE THE FIEND. Bray Wyatt is on SmackDown, The Fiend stands in front of McMahon, but Braun Strowman interrupts the scene. Both face each other and the members of RETRIBUTION around the ring. Strowman and Wyatt face each other, surrounded by them, the lights go out and The Fiend disappears, leaving Strowman alone. RETRIBUTION begins to attack Strowman inside the ring. Finally, members of the SmackDown roster arrive to face them, a brawl is armed between the hooded men and the members of the blue brand, the latter leaving with an advantage. After this, they help Strowman up, but this angry charges against several superstars of the brand.
Big E vs. Sheamus
The first match of the night begins with superstars around the ring to act in the event of an attack by the hooded men. Sheamus takes the lead, but Big E locks him in a headlock. Big E’s elbows, Belly to Belly three times, Big Splash, look for Big Ending, but Sheamus reverses. Brogue Kick by Sheamus and counts in two. Sheamus deals right hands, Big E responds, they continue with kicks, Big E throws him against the canvas and counts in two. At ringside, King Corbin take advantage to attack Matt Riddle and a brawl is armed outside. Given the situation, Sheamus is careless and Big E applies a Roll Up to get the victory.
Winner: Big E via pinfall.
After the victory, Sheamus he leaves angry and Big E is in the center of the ring celebrating with Heavy Machinery. On another plane, you see Jeff Hardy attended by a doctor, where he indicates that he was attacked by someone minutes before in the attack of RETRIBUTION.
SmackDown Tag Team Championships
Lucha House Party (con Kalisto) vs. Cesaro y Shinsuke Nakamura (c)

Cesaro comes in, attacks, but Metalik reverses with Hurricanrana. Enter Dorado and Nakamura, Dorado’s Crossbody, the latter attacks Nakamura against the corner, connects a kick, Moonsault, repeats the dose and counts by two thanks to Cesaro’s intervention. Metalik attacks Cesaro from above at ringside. Inside the ring, Nakamura attacks Dorado with Exploder, goes down to attack Metalik, returns and Dorado kicks him followed by a Stunner. Cesaro takes the tag, Roll Up de Dorado and counts in two. After an exchange, Cesaro applies a Roll Up and achieves the victory.
Winners and ONE SmackDown Tag Team Champions: Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall.
After the fight, Kalisto and Dorado argue about what happened, Metalik and the referee intervene to stop them. Backstage, Hardy is still being treated for the blow to his leg at the beginning of the show. An interview is made to AJ Styles a backstage where it is shown that he was the culprit of the attack on Hardy, This comments that that is silly, since Hardy loses and has lost all the opportunities he has had and tonight will be no exception. Styles retires and meets Sasha Banks y Bayley, crashing Championships.
Mandy Rose is interviewed backstage, she says she does not know how to feel about the fight she will have with Sonya Deville at WWE SummerSlam. Rose calls Deville, stating that she knows the Sonya she knows is still there, and will be looking for her in the fight this Sunday.
Bayley y Sasha Banks make an appearance on SmackDown. Corey Graves is in charge of interviewing them, welcoming them to the Amway Center. Graves declares that on Sunday both will defend their individual Championships against Asuka at WWE SummerSlam. Bayley says she can’t beat her and Graves reminds her that she was already defeated by Asuka in the past. Bayley tells him that none of that matters because they have the gold. Disagreements begin between Bayley and Banks, but they are interrupted by Naomi. The former champion says she can solve her problems by facing them both tonight. Graves gives an idea of combat between the two against Naomi, the latter attacks with Dropkick and begins the combat.
Beat The Clock Challenge
Naomi vs. Bayley y Sasha Banks
Naomi takes the lead, but Banks responds, Roll Up Naomi and counts at two. Naomi locks her in braces with her legs and attacks with kicks to the head. Naomi sends her out and attacks from the ropes. Banks takes advantage of an oversight by the latter to punish her against the ropes, knocks her down and counts in two. Headlock by Banks who dominates against the canvas, Naomi delivers blows and stamps against the ring. Naomi’s corner kick, Crossbody, but Banks reverses and counts at two. Naomi puts her against the ropes and attacks her from the ropes, counts in two. Banks Roll Up and count in two. Naomi reverses, but Banks responds with a Bank Statement and gets the count of three.
Sasha Banks gets a time of 3:39 minutes.
Bayley enters to punish Naomi, attacks and gets the count of two. Bayley’s Suplex, kicks and Naomi is sent to the corner, Bayley knocks her down, applies a Clothesline and counts at two. Bayley attacks Naomi with Clothesline and counts by two on the canvas. Naomi responds with Senton and gets the victory by the count of three.
Naomi gets the victory over Bayley.
With this victory, Sasha Banks will be the second to face Asuka on Sunday at WWE SummerSlam.
Asuka appears on the scene to taunt his rivals. The Japanese says that Sunday will be “the empress of everything”, because nobody is ready for her. She attacks Banks and heads to the ring to attack Bayley as well. Bayley escapes down the ramp with the titles in her hands, while Banks lies badly injured on the ramp. In another shot, Hardy appears recovering and another installment of Firefly Fun House is confirmed. Sonya Deville appears backstage, avoids interviews, appears Dana Brooke and slaps him back from the scene.
Sonya Deville appears on the ramp, she comments on the words of Mandy Rose a while ago, makes it clear that she will destroy her in WWE SummerSlam.
An account of what happened in Firefly Fun House programs is shown, also showing the segment between Alexa Bliss y Braun Strowman. Nikki Cross appears on the screen, she talks about what happened with Bliss and reveals that she is completely sorry and willing to apologize for her attitude.
WWE Intercontinental Championship
AJ Styles (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Hardy takes advantage despite the blow received. However, Styles takes the upper hand by punishing him in the leg and maintaining the punishment with stomping. Styles gains momentum from the ropes, but Hardy receives it with a right hand and Styles falls on the canvas. Calf Crusher from Styles, Hardy reaches the ropes freeing himself from the key. Styles attacks with kicks, but Hardy reverses the Styles Clash, Twist of Fate, looks for Swanton Bomb and does it for the count of three.

Jeff hardy is interviewed by Kayla Braxton, she asks him what it means for him to have won the Championship again. Hardy says that with effort everything can be achieved, he makes it clear that he will be a fighting champion, as he has been from the beginning, he closes by saying that he will give him the prestige that the Championship deserves.
New section of Firefly Fun House with Bray WyattHe himself comments that everything is governed by love, which can achieve absolutely everything. Makes a comparison of the relationship between Braun Strowman y Alexa Bliss, two of the Firefly characters appear making fun of the situation between Bliss and Strowman, but are interrupted by Wyatt claiming that that was not what he was referring to. Wyatt asks them to stand down, picks up the point, and says that love is the only thing that can stop suffering. He makes it clear that The Fiend can’t wait to “get his hands” on Strowman, but the latter appears surprising him from behind and attacks him until he is thrown on the floor. The shot ends with Strowman dragging Wyatt’s injured body.
After the previous scene, the commentators appear to give a preview of what happened. Wyatt and Strowman appear hitting each other backstage, the latter having the upper hand, seeks to throw it from the heights and does so. The security personnel arrive to help Wyatt, who ends up badly injured by Strowman’s Chokeslam. An ambulance arrives on the scene and they try to take Wyatt into it. However, after mounting the injured Wyatt into the ambulance, the ambulance stops and steps back, from the ambulance red lights go on and The Fiend comes out of it, who smiles at the camera to finish the show.
