Wuling Air ev it is a battery electric car with the lowest price in Indonesia. This tiny electric car sells for prices ranging from IDR 238 million to IDR 295 million.
The price for Wuling Air ev appears to be cheaper in the future if the government implements a subsidy of IDR 80 million for electric cars which already have factories in Indonesia. Wuling Air ev is one of two domestically produced pure electric cars.
“The government is now in the finalization phase, calculating, to provide incentives for the purchase of electric cars and motorcycles. Incentives will be given to buyers who buy electric cars or motorcycles who have factories in Indonesia,” said the Minister of Industry Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita.
With a grant of 80 million rupees, the price for Wuling Air ev starts from 158 million rupees. Even the most expensive doesn’t come to Rp. 250 million, but only at Rp. 231 million.
The following is the estimated price for Wuling Air ev if it gets subsidies:
- Wuling Air ev Standard Range: IDR 158,000,000 (formerly IDR 238,000,000)
- Wuling Air ev Long Range: IDR 215,000,000 (formerly IDR 295,000,000)
- Wuling Air long range ev with charging stack: IDR 231,000,000 (formerly IDR 311,000,000)
If you pay attention, the price of the Wuling Air ev with the subsidy will be cheaper than the Toyota Calya Low Cost Green Car (LCGC) and also the lowest variant Toyota Agya. In comparison, the cheapest Toyota Calya sells at IDR 163.8 million and the most expensive at IDR 183.6 million. Meanwhile, Agya is priced from IDR 159.7 million.
Meanwhile, Honda Brio Satya is currently being sold at Rp. 157.9 million, Ayla from Rp. 112.8 million and Sigra from Rp. 131.5 million. The following is the price of LCGC cars sold in Indonesia.
- Toyota Calya: Rp. 163.8 million – Rp. 183.6 million
- Honda Brio Satya: Rp. 157.9 million-Rp.188 million
- Toyota Agya: Rp. 159.7 million – Rp. 181.5 million
- Daihatsu Ayla: IDR 112.8 million-172.55 million
- Daihatsu Sigra: IDR 131.5 million-174.7 million
