Writings against Bucci, Toti and the police on some buildings in Genoa

(ANSA) – GENOA, MAY 5 – Some writings against the mayor of Genoa Bucci and the Ligurian president Toti and against the police were left in the afternoon on some buildings in the center of Genoa, including the Municipality headquarters, during a demonstration of anarchists demanding the release of eight young people arrested by the police the other evening for resistance near an occupied premises. “In Genoa but also throughout the country, gestures of intolerance towards institutions are multiplying in an ever-increasing climate of hatred. But we will not be intimidated. With the weapons of democracy, respect and dialogue we will counter every form of extremism and intolerance. We expect all political parties to take a stand against these gestures because this is not politics, they are acts of vandalism and they must be condemned. We cannot only raise our voices when our opponents are wrong. Let’s erase the writings and raise the level of the debate ” President Toti wrote in a note.
