During a shooting at the Vespuccistraat, near the Balboaplein in West, someone was injured tonight. The victim was taken to the hospital.

The incident took place around 8 p.m. near a café in Vespucci Street. Shots were shot several times and the victim was hit in the leg. Witnesses say they have heard at least four shots. The police are trying to find a suspect on a scooter.
Via Burgernet, the police ask to look for a white or slightly tinted, fairly small man. He wore a black vest, black sweatpants, black shoes, and rode off on a scooter.
The crime scene has been cordoned off for investigation.
