The Thomas Battersea school, where the offspring of Prince William and Catherine are taught, says that it takes the risks “very seriously” like all other schools and has therefore taken this measure. The four students had recently returned from a vacation to northern Italy. Several people in the area are infected with the corona virus. “We currently have a small number of students who are being tested for the virus. Until the results are known, they must stay at home on the advice of the government,” said a school spokesperson.
The parents of all children were informed of the home quarantine by means of a letter. “We are in regular contact to ensure that important information is disseminated. Of course we do not comment on specific cases.”
