Worried More and More Mink “Rise from the Grave”, Denmark Will Burn His Carcass Page all

COPENHAGEN, KOMPAS.com – Millions of carcasses cerpelai will be excavated from mass graves and burned in a rubbish incinerator in Denmark after some resurface.

The entire Danish herd of about 17 million minks is usually used as raw material for the high-end fashion industry. But they were culled in early November, after hundreds of farms suffered from the coronavirus outbreak.

Authorities also found new variant the corona virus mutated among the people there.

Earlier, amid concerns that the virus mutation would render a vaccine developed to fight the native virus useless, Denmark ordered all minks to be destroyed.

But of the four million minks that were hastily buried, in the military areas of western Denmark, some are starting to emerge from the sandy soil. It is known, gases from the decomposition process push the mink out of the ground.

Scientists believe a new variant of the coronavirus, jumped from farm workers to mink in the summer, before being transmitted back to humans.

When viruses cross between species, mutations occur and give rise to protein spikes, which are then reused to enter human cells.

That’s important because the leading vaccine candidates work by targeting this protein.
