Since March last year, PC and Xbox One players from World War Z can meet to massacre zombies thanks to cross-play. With the Dronemaster update scheduled for July 22, PS4 players will be inviting themselves to the party.

As indicated on social media from TPS coop, PS4 will join the PC and the Xbox One in the cross-play loop this Wednesday July 22. It will also be possible invite your friends into your group, even if they play on a different platform yours.

The update will also bring a new class, aptly named Dronemaster, which will control a quadrocopter drone providing in particular some useful bonuses. Another novelty: a ban system, with an in-game option to report cheaters or poisonous players.
