8 hours, 15 minutes and 15 seconds. For so long George Hood was balancing straight on his toes and forearms. He set a new world record there planking along. Then the 62-year-old pressed again seventy-five times.
The American started shelves in 2011 and trained seven hours a day for this event. Hood says he has trained 2100 hours in total for the record.
“I have to completely distance myself from the clock. It is an art and skill that I have mastered over the years,” he tells the BBC.
