Husband believes in the dog’s innocence
The dog school owner and husband of the deceased, Dominique Malinois, did not initially believe that the dog attacked the woman. “I am sure that my dog Elliot did not want to attack my wife,” the dog trainer told BLICK on Wednesday. Chatelanat suspected that his wife had fallen and then passed out on the floor. “Elliot definitely just wanted to wake her up and then grabbed her by the arm and shook her.” Hence the bite marks that his wife showed.

Bleed to death from wounds
But now the evidence is there. The autopsy confirms that the woman bled to death due to numerous serious wounds on the arms, the Freiburg public prosecutor said. These injuries are attributable to the dog of the woman.
