In 2019, a woman named Emma McGuinness decided to celebrate her 30th birthday at Disney World in Florida. Unfortunately, the celebration turned into a terrible accident when the woman decided to go on a ride with one of the park’s attractions, The Sun reports.
Emma decided to go to the “Humunga Kowabunga” attraction to celebrate her birthday. It is a 65 meter high water slide.
In the seemingly innocent fun, the woman suffered several serious injuries.
She discovers that while going down the slide, she crashed down at 64 km/h and injured herself as a result.
Emma has decided to sue the amusement park in Florida for the incident. She wants compensation of 40,000 British pounds (46,141.24 euros).
As reported, due to the rapid descent and unpleasant landing, the woman suffered serious injuries caused by her swimsuit. The bottom of the bathing suit tore painfully between her legs. “She experienced immediate and severe internal pain, blood began to flow down her legs upon standing up,” the document filed in court said.
After the traumatic descent, the woman was immediately taken to the hospital for medical treatment. However, the specialists at the local hospital were unable to deal with her injuries and the woman was sent to another medical facility for medical treatment of the gynecological injuries. The filed lawsuit mentions that the woman suffered “severe and irreversible physical injuries, including severe vaginal lacerations, internal organ damage.”
