Workers at the Chipper Truck Café on McLean Avenue in Yonkers received an order for breakfast through the GrubHub app early Sunday.

The order had a distress notewhere a woman asked to notify the police so that they could come and rescue her, since she was deprived of her liberty.

Through the note, the woman asked the staff: “! please call the police!”, y “ please don’t be obvious!”.

According to police authorities and news reports, the 24-year-old woman reported that she had met her captor online, however, the man sexually assaulted her and kept her at that address against her will.

On its Facebook page, the cafeteria reported what happened on June 19 when they received the order.

“This morning around 5am a girl was saved from a 5 hour hostage situation. She ordered a delivery through Grubhub to our restaurant and added this note. Our staff responded immediately and called the police and she was saved. I have often heard of this, but I never thought it would happen to us. Fortunately we were open and were able to help her. Many thanks to the police for their quick response.”

The police arrested Kemoy Royal, 32, as the alleged perpetrator.

Royal was also listed by authorities as suspected of committing a sexual assault on a 26-year-old woman on June 15.
