‘Woman feels misunderstood by financial advisor’ | Money

For men, that percentage is only 40%, according to the report ‘The importance of inclusiveness in financial services’. According to the study, which also included consultants from McKinsey and Better Future, women face obstacles when it comes to their finances.

Compared to men, women feel “more often misunderstood” by their financial advisor, the researchers say. As a result, financial services would be less suited to their needs.

Wealthy women also feel misunderstood: two in three feel that financial services do not meet their needs. The research also shows that female entrepreneurs (69%) have more difficulty raising capital than men (59%).

According to ABN Amro, it is better for both advisers and women to improve services. That would generate billions of additional revenue worldwide.
