Woman arrested for kidnapping Lady Gaga’s dogs sues singer

Jennifer McBride, arrested in April 2021 for the kidnapping of Lady Gaga’s two dogs, accuses the singer of breach of contract for not having paid the promised $ 500,000 reward.

In February 2021, Koji and Gustav, two French bulldogs belonging to Lady Gaga, were stolen from Hollywood. The singer then offered a reward of 500,000 dollars for the return of her two dogs. Two years later, the woman who brought her the canines sued her for not having paid the sum.

Jennifer McBride, who was actually one of five people arrested for the kidnapping, reported the dogs to Los Angeles police in saying he found them tied to a post. According to the police, who immediately arrested her, she had a relationship with the father of one of the attackers and had been responsible for collecting the reward on their behalf.

“Intent to defraud”

Jennifer McBride now accuses Lady Gaga of breach of contract for not having paid the reward of 500,000 euros. She assures via her lawyers that the reward was imagined “with the intention of defrauding and misleading the public into finding and returning Lady Gaga’s bulldogs.”

A man who violently assaulted a Lady Gaga employee to kidnap the star’s dogs, 20-year-old James Howard Jackson, was sentenced last December to 21 years in prison. This sentence comes after that of his accomplices, Jaylin Keyshawn White, 20, sentenced to four years in prison and Lafayette Shon Whaley, 28, sentenced to six years in prison.
