Wolter Kroes crashed during rehearsals for the Golden Televizier-Ring Gala on Thursday and broke his wrist. The singer is therefore unable to perform, says his manager Remco de Ruiter Private know.
“There was a camera test. That’s normal with a TV recording,” says De Ruiter. “Then you go where you have to stand and at what moments the shots are taken. Then it went wrong.”
The singer made a bad fall and it soon became clear that he was wrong. “He’s gone white with pain. I took Wolter to the hospital.”
In the hospital, doctors found that the singer broke his wrist. “He is now in the cast. His performance of him will not take place tonight,” explains his manager.
Kroes will be replaced, but it is not yet clear who will perform.
