SCHWANDORF. On the morning of March 7th, 2023, officers from the Schwandorf police station noticed a 23-year-old with his e-scooter. He drove the e-scooter along Bahnhofstrasse, even though the insurance number plate had expired. An investigation was initiated against the man for violating the Compulsory Insurance Act.
The Schwandorf police then know that insurance plates in black have been required since March 1st, 2023. A violation constitutes a criminal offense against the Compulsory Insurance Act. The periods of the insurance year extend from 01.03. until 28.02. of the following year.
